I am blessed to be living my life married to my best friend, Daniel, with whom I am raising two amazing little girls, Rebecca (6) and Katherine (3). I work as an optometrist close to full-time, but my heart truly belongs to all things creative. So I spend what little spare time I have dabbling in a wide range of arts and crafts, such as making mixed media art, creating personalized teddy bears, scrapbooking (both paper and digital), rubber stamping, knitting, sewing, needle felting and paper crafts. I love making gifts for family and friends during the holidays and birthdays. It's just been a challenge for me to find the time between my family, my work, our home, and life. I am working hard to make the time because creating makes me happy! And this is what this blog is for -- my creative adventure and inspiration.

Hi Jen, I can so relate. We have four children (an 8 year old son and triplets who are 6 - boy, girl, boy). My life is always busy. I am compelled to create. It keeps me balanced. Our kids love to do crafts with me too. If you have a chance visit me at my other blog http://4goldeneggs.blogspot.com
